On Friday 31 August, 21 offices across Australia participated in UGL's inaugural national Raise for Red morning tea to raise funds for Australian Red Cross.

The morning tea proved to be a huge success, with staff cooking up a storm of sweet and savoury delights, getting into the red theme of the day and generously donating a gold coin to participate.

A total of AU$4,322 was raised, with UGL Service's Canberra office raising the most funds on the day - a total of AU$1059! The wining office participated in an awards ceremony, to present the cheque of the full amount raised to Australian Red Cross.

All funds raised by UGL will go towards training first aid volunteers to respond to emergencies and equipment for the Australian Red Cross Disaster & Emergency Services.
